NEW YORK, Nov 6 (KUNA) -- Guatemala's Minister of Foreign Affairs Carlos Raul Morales has affirmed his country's keenness on strengthening bilateral relations with Kuwait in various fields, especially at the diplomatic levels.
This came in a statement issued by the Embassy of Kuwait in Guatemala, received by KUNA following a meeting that grouped Guatemala's Foreign Minister with Kuwait's Ambassador to Mexico and Non-Resident to Guatemala, Samih Johar Hayat.
Raul expressed his sincere wish to strengthen the relations between the two countries, stressing on the keenness to coordinate to open an embassy and appoint a resident ambassador to the country in the near future.
For his part, Ambassador Hayat conveyed greetings of First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, wishing further development and prosperity for the two countries. (end) mmb.ss
