Kuwaiti minister meets with GCC chiefs of staff

KUWAIT, Oct 31 (KUNA) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah met here on Friday with Chiefs of Staff in the GCC, a statement issued by the Moral Guidance Department in the General Staff headquarters of the Kuwaiti Army said.
The meeting dealt primarily with topics of discussion being reviewed at the on-going discourse of the 12th consultative meeting of the supreme military committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), headed by Kuwait's Army Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Mohammad Khaled Al-Khuder who attended today's meeting with the minister.
The meeting is aimed at strengthening joint military actions and achieving greater coordination between the armed forces of the GCC so as to translate the directives of the GCC leaders. (end) amn.ajs
