WASHINGTON, Oct 25 (KUNA) -- In the wake of Friday's deadly shooting spree in Seattle, Washington, the Kuwaiti Embassy affirmed that all Kuwaiti citizens including students in the United States were safe.
The diplomatic mission, in a statement released late on Friday, urged all Kuwaitis in the US to remain in contact with the embassy, the general consulate in Los Angeles and the cultural offices in these two cities to inform the mission about any "emergency they may encounter."
The embassy has released telephone numbers for any emergency:

Local authorities had reported that a student went on a shooting spree at a high school, killing one person before shooting himself to death. (end)
