KUWAIT, Oct 24 (KUNA) -- - Kuwait lost to Argentina 2-6 in their second match of the Futsal Continental Cup on Friday, hosted by Kuwait under auspices of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The Kuwaiti team did not perform as hoped for in the first group, while Argentina has become the favorite to advance after their second consecutive win.
Kuwait's two goals were scored by Abdulrahman Al-Taweel and Saleh Hassan. The team's Abdulrahman Al-Awadhi was sent off.
The Argentinian scored 12 goals in two matches.
In other matches tonight, the Egyptian team lost to Italy 2-3, while the Brazil was able to defeat Guatemala 5-2.
The Czech Republic defeated Japan 4-0.
The eight teams represent the world's top five continental football organizing bodies. (end)
