Sheikh Salman Al-Hamoud praises private sector's role in serving society

KUWAIT, Oct 22 (KUNA) -- Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah on Wednesday hailed the role of the private sector in serving the society.
In his speech in a gathering on "concept of societal partnership and its bases" organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and attended by private sector's institutions, Minister Sheish Salman Al-Hamoud said that the contribution of all makes success in the country.
He added that all citizens should pay attention to society in general and youths in particular, indicating that countries all over the world give top priorities to youths as they contribute to serving society.
Minister Sheish Salman underscored the importance of the private sector in meeting the country's positive aspirations as a whole by cooperating with the state's official institutions and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
He thanked all the representatives of private sector's banks, societies and companies for attending the meeting in order to assume responsibility toward the country.
For her part, Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs Sheikha Al-Zain Sabah said that the ministry, since it was established, has been supporting youths' projects in all domains related to sustainable development.
She added that the aim of the meeting is to strengthen the partnership between the NGOs and the Ministry of Youths Affairs. (end) ha.fsh.hm
