IRBIL, Oct 20 (KUNA) -- At least 10 fighters of Kurdish Peshmerga forces were killed and 20 others wounded Monday in a suicide car-bomb explosion near Mosul dam, North Iraq, a source in Peshmerga forces stated.
Meanwhile, Al-Qaeda insurgents attacked a number of Peshmerga forces within Mosul dam vicinity, the sources told KUNA, adding that the Kurdish forces fought them back, killing 100 of them as others fled leaving behind their ammunitions. (end)
