Palestinians will take legal action against attackers of Al-Aqsa mosque - Abbas

RAMALLAH, Oct 18 (KUNA) -- Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Saturday the Palestinian leadership would take legal against vis-a-vis systematic Israeli attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque.
"My message to our people in Al-Quds and West Bank ... that we will not allow herds of settlers undermine Al-Aqsa and we are taking international legal action against them," Abbas said at the opening of a meeting of Fatah Revolutionary Council meeting in Ramallah.
Occupied Jerusalem has been systematically attacked by Jewish settlers with the aim of dividing the holy shrine, he said, and "we know what this means." Abbas said the Fatah Revolutionary Council members would discuss seeking the UN Security Council (UNSC) against the Israeli attacks on Al-Aqsa.
"We want to have a (UN) resolution through which the Security Council gives us the full right in the Palestinian territories occupied in 1967 including Al-Quds in order to be a Palestine State, and a time is set to end the occupation. This is very important," he said.
Abbas meanwhile said Fatah was committed with the reconciliation with Hamas. (end) nq.bs
