Five Swiss nationals die, another two injured in French helicopter crash

PARIS, Oct 2 (KUNA) -- Five Swiss businessmen died here Thursday after their helicopter crashed in eastern France, near Mont-Beliard, media and police reports indicated.
Two other people were injured in the accident that took place only eight miles from the Swiss border.
The crash of the EC130 helicopter appears to have been due to a technical failure as the craft lost power suddenly and crashed to the ground very quickly, "France Info" radio reported.
The seven victims were part of a business federation in Switzerland and were heading for a meeting with French automobile maker, Peugeot, not far from Mont-Beliard.
Police have said that the victims were composed of six men and one woman and were aged between 40 and 60. (end) jk.mt
