Ukrainian ambassador touts Kuwait's humanitarian efforts

KUWAIT, Oct 1 (KUNA) -- Ukraine's ambassador to Kuwait Vladimir Tolqatch praised the humanitarian work of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) following a meeting he had on Wednesday with its Deputy Chairman Anwar Al-Hasawi.
The ambassador told KUNA he discussed with Al-Hasawi the possibility of Kuwaiti relief aid to his country, while he applauded the recent UN honoring of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as a Humanity Leader and Kuwait as a Humanity Center.
Al-Hasawi expressed the KRCS's willingness to cooperate actively with Ukrainian relief organizations on all humanitarian matters. (end) ha.ajs
