Al-Khurainej applauds outcome of parliamentary visit to Czech Republic

PRAGUE, Sept 27 (KUNA) -- Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Mubarak Al-Khereinj said that the parliamentary visit to the Czech Republic was a success and achieved its target.
Speaking to KUNA ahead of leaving Prague on the way home on Saturday after a tour that also included Slovakia, Al-Khereinj said the Kuwaiti National Assembly delegation had paid an important visit to the Republic, which included meetings with senior officials and parliamentarians, on cementing bilateral ties.
He referred to bilateral relations as good and always developing on all levels.
Al-Khereinj also lauded efforts by the Kuwait Ambassador to the Czech Republic Ayman Al-Adsani to guarantee success to the visit.
The Deputy Speaker of the Kuwaiti Parliament said that through the talks with the Czech officials and top parliamentarians, he felt readiness to abolish all obstacles that could negatively impact bilateral ties or friendship based on mutual respect.
Al-Khereinj invited Speaker of Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament Jan Hamacek and President of the Senate Milan Stech, which may take place by the start of the next year.
He also appreciated the stance by Czech official who condemned the campaign against Arabs and Muslims in the city of Tablisa. The talks of the Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation to the Republic also addressed a host of regional and Arab issues of common concern.
The Head of the Second Parliamentary Friendship Committee also said that they had discussed the Czech stance regarding the nomination of Kuwait for a non-permanent at the UNSC.
Kuwait and the Czech Republic, which celebrated the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic ties last May, signed a range of agreement on prevention of dual taxation, and promotion of joint investment, tourist exchanges and healthcare cooperation.
Al-Adsani and members of the Kuwaiti embassy in Prague saw the parliamentary delegation off on their departure flying back home. (end) amg.msa
