KSE closes mixed for 3rd day in row

KUWAIT, Sept 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) closed Wednesday's operations with the main indices being mixed for the third consecutive day.
Weighted index read 495.45, losing 1.18 points, but the price index moved up to 7,646.36, gaining 15.94 points.
The third main index, KSX 15, which reflects trading in blue-chips, went down to 1,208.52, shedding 3.15 points.
Meanwhile, number of trades reached 5,907, value of traded shares KD 28,214,911.786 and volume of the exchanged stocks, 287,508,955.
Top gainers were KBMMC, PAPCO, KMEFIC, SECH and MRC. Top losers were TAHSSILAT, SAFWAN, NCCI, ALSALAM and CBK. Topping volume stock were SECH, COAST, GNAHC, SAFRE AND ALMAL. (end) rk
