Algerian pres. congratulates His Highness the Amir on UN honoring

KUWAIT, Sept 22 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Monday a congratulatory cable from Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
In his cable, pres. Bouteflika congratulated His Highness the Amir on the United Nations honoring and proclamation of His Highness the Amir a "Humanitarian Leader" and Kuwait a "Humanitarian Center".
President Bouteflika acclaimed His Highness the Amir's contributions to global humanitarian action.
In response, His Highness the Amir sent a cable to President Bouteflika and thanked him on his good sentiments which reflected the deeply-rooted ties between the Kuwait and Algeria. (end) ibi
