His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah meets UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon
NEW YORK, Sept 21 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's representative, His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Sunday.
His Highness the Prime Minister conveyed the appreciation of His Highness the Amir for the UN for honoring him as a Humanitarian Leader and the State of Kuwait as a Humanitarian Center.
The meeting, attended by the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Prime Minister, touched on regional and international developments.
His Highness the Prime Minister expressed support for the endeavors exerted by Ban to achieve peace in the Middle East.
His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak affirmed Kuwait's continued support for the UN and its agencies with the objective of achieving peace, stability and development around the globe. (end)
