WASHINGTON, Sept 18 (KUNA) -- US military forces continued to attack Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorists in Iraq, using bomber and fighter aircraft to conduct two airstrikes on Wednesday and Thursday.
The last strike, earlier today, targeted an ISIL training camp southeast Mosul, destroying an armed vehicle, two ISIL-occupied buildings and a large ground unit, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced in Tampa, Florida.
Another airstrike southeast of Baghdad damaged an ISIL ammunition stockpile, the announcement said.
CENTCOM has conducted a total of 176 airstrikes across Iraq so far, it added. (end)
