Kuwaiti Parliamentarians to meet president of Nicaragua

KUWAIT, Sept 17 (KUNA) -- A Kuwaiti parliamentary friendship group headed by National Assembly Secretary MP Yaqoub Al-Sanea, which has already arrived in Nicaragua, is due to meet with President Daniel Ortega, later on Wednesday, Kuwait's Ambassador to Mexico Samih Johar Hayat said.
The delegation arrived in Nicaragua on Tuesday starting a four-day official mission.
Ambassador Hayat noted the parliamentary group could play an effective role in the consolidation of parliamentary relations between the two countries.
The delegation is also due to meet with the Nicaraguan Parliament Speaker, the head of Sandinista National Liberation Front and number of senior officials.
The two sides will sign an agreement at the Nicaraguan Parliament head office, related to supporting means of cooperation and coordination between Kuwait and Nicaragua and strengthening parliamentary relations between the two countries. (end) mmb.ss
