His Highness Premier meets Italian President

ROME, Sept 17 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Prime Minister (of Kuwait) Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, accompanied by a delegation of ranking officials on a current mission in Italy, met on Wednesday with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano in the Italian capital.
His Highness the Prime Minister handed over, during the meeting, a written message from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah expressing good wishes to the president and the Italian people. The message also dealt with the historic and solid ties between the two countries.
His Highness the Amir, in the message, invited the Italian President to visit Kuwait The two sides during the meeting held talks on international issues of common concern, namely Middle Eastern affairs, emphasizing necessity of exerting greater efforts in the fight against terrorism.
