KUWAIT, Sept 15 (KUNA) -- A delegation from the Ministry of Education will participate in the 9th arbitration forum which will be held in Dubai, within the framework of preparations for the 17th Hamdan Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance.
The delegation will leave to the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday to participate in the Forum due to be held on Wednesday and Thursday, coordinator of the award, Director of the Capital Educational Area Naji Al-Zamil told KUNA.
The ministry will participate with a delegation of outstanding students, teachers and distinct school administrators, Al-Zamil added.
The forum's annual award aims to exchange experiences and to identify the criteria for the award, which highlights the importance of education and its role in advancing progress, he said.
Al-Zamil praised the educational role of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum and its contribution to the upgrading of the educational process in the Arab Gulf states.
The State of Kuwait has achieved six awards in various categories in the sixth edition of the award. (end) asa.ss
