LONDON, Sept 8 (KUNA) -- Britain Prime Minister David Cameron expressed hope on Monday that the announcement on the formation of the Iraqi government concludes before the end of this week.
Cameron made his remarks during parliament session, which also tackled result of the recent NATO summit in Wales, noting that his government will continue to support the Iraqi government and the formation of government that represent all Iraqi factions.
The premier added that there is a possibility for dispatching British experts to help the new Iraqi government and to support Kurds in their confrontation against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
Cameron noted that the Iraqis themselves must lead the fight against ISIL, however regional powers and international coalitions must play a vital role too.
The British government will continue in this regard through the UN and UN General Assembly meetings in New York later this month, adding that NATO summit last week expressed commitment to help with efforts confronting ISIL threats.
Cameron said that NATO continues to be a critical part of Britain's strategy in confronting new threats in the world. (end) kd.mb
