JEDDAH, Sept 2 (KUNA) -- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Tuesday condemned Israel's decision to seize 400 hectares of Palestinian lands in the West Bank.
OIC Secretary General Iyad Madani said the Israeli policy of confiscation of Palestinian lands and expansion of Jewish settlement aimed at creating new reality on the ground, which was a blatant violation of international law and UN resolutions.
He called on the international community to live up to its responsibility and stop the Israeli systematic aggression on the Palestinian people and their lands.
Israel announced two days ago it would expropriate 988 acres, or 400 hectares, of Palestinian land around Bethlehem in the West Bank. (end)
