GCC FMs congratulate His Highness the Amir on humanitarian title

JEDDAH, Aug 30 (KUNA) -- The GCC Foreign Ministers' Council on Saturday congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on naming him as international humanitarian leader and Kuwait as humanitarian center.
"This honoring is a translation of Kuwait's leading role in the humanitarian and development domains," according to the final statement of the 132nd session of the ministerial council.
The UN has named His Highness the Amir as humanitarian leader and Kuwait as humanitarian center in appreciation of their outstanding contributions to the relief efforts worldwide. (end) mmj.gb
