BEIRUT, Aug 30 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti racer, Meshari Al-Dhafiri, has made better results in the Lebanon Rally, coming sixth in his group and the 13th in the general results.
Speaking to KUNA, the Kuwaiti champion expressed satisfaction at the result he made in the second day of the rally, being able to continue the race despite rugged mountainous roads and strong competition by the other drivers, particularly the Lebanese who are quite aware of the terrain features.
He emphasized that he would do his best in the next rounds to remain among the top in the race.
Nikolai Amyuni of Lebanon is on top of the group, contested by the Qatari Abdul-Aziz Al-Kawwari and the other Lebanese, Rodrigo Al-Raee. (end) ayr.rk
