PAAET accepts 12,597 students for new academic year

KUWAIT, Aug 28 (KUNA) -- Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) Dr. Mahmoud Fakhr approved admission applications of 12,597 students and trainees in PAAET colleges and institutes for the academic year 2014/2015.
In a press conference held on this occasion, Dr. Fakhr urged accepted students to start their college life with exerting more effort and to abide by perseverance turn their educational dreams into reality.
For his part, Acting Dean of Admissions and Registration Falah Hassan Al-Mutairi said the total number of applicants were 12,781.
Only 184 applications were noted accepted, including 37 for Kuwaitis, he said. (end) mls.abd.ibi
