ISTANBUL, July 31 (KUNA) -- The Turkish Foreign Ministry condemned Thursday the attacks on UNRWA schools and other civilian facilities in the Gaza Strip, deeming the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip as intolerable.
A statement by the Foreign Ministry also expressed deep sorrow on the deaths of over 1,300 Palestinians killed and the injury of thousands others in the Israeli ongoing onslaught.
Yesterday, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has unveiled that the Palestinian Hamas movement has assigned Turkey to negotiate a ceasefire in Gaza Strip.
Davutoglu pointed out that Turkey is exerting strenuous efforts to help stop the Israeli three-week aggression on Gaza Strip. (end)
