Cairo follows closely status of Egyptians in Libya - FM

CAIRO, July 30 (KUNA) -- Egypt's Foreign Ministry Wednesday affirmed that it follows closely the status and conditions of Egyptians living in Libya through cooperating with Libyan and Tunisian authorities.
"Our consulate in Libya provides its service and protection for Egyptian residents here amid the current precarious security situation, spokesman for Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel-Atti said in a statement Wednesday.
"Egypt is constantly following the increasing number of Egyptians on Tunisia-Libya borders," said the spokesman, pointing out that the ministry beefed up the size of the diplomatic mission there to provide ease of movement for them." Abdel-Atti urged Egyptian nationals not to travel to Libya nowadays and asked Egyptians living in Libya to stay in safe and secure places for their personal safety. (end) asm.hm
