Israeli army kidnap Lebanese shepherd

BEIRUT, July 30 (KUNA) -- Israeli soldiers kidnapped a Lebanese shepherd early Wednesday from an area near the Israeli-occupied Lebanese Shebaa farms, according to security reports from southern Lebanon.
Local media sources said that the soldiers took the shepherd into the occupied Shebaa Farms.
The report noted that the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) is exerting efforts to secure release the Lebanese citizen.
Israeli forces seized a herd of goats in the same area yesterday while the two shepherds responsible were able to flee. Israeli forces have repeatedly arrested shepherds roaming near the border.(end) ayb.ag
