Police nab perpetrator of murder on Al-Salmy Motorway - MoI

KUWAIT, July 29 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Interior announced Tuesday that the police managed to indentify and arrest the perpetrator of murder on Al-Salmy Motorway within 24 hours after the crime.
Upon receiving tips from Taymaa police station that a citizen was shot dead on the road, the Criminal Investigations Dept was alerted and intensified the efforts to track down the culprit.
A team of investigators was formed urgently and was able to identify the murderer who proved to be a Kuwaiti citizen, according a statement by the Security Media Dept.
The man confessed to the crime, its motives and the weapon used, the statement said, adding that the necessary legal measures are underway. (end) hmd.tb.gb
