State keen on Nat'l Youth Document - Sheikh Salman

KUWAIT, July 28 (KUNA) -- Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah stressed on Monday the keenness of the political leadership on implementing the National Youth Document.
Talking to the KUNA during a tour in the youth centres of Faiha and Ardhia, the Minister expressed hope for coordinating all efforts to produce developed centres that accommodate the energy and capabilities of the Kuwaiti youth.
"Youth centres have the responsibility to provide incubators for the talented Kuwaiti youth," the Minister said, adding that the Public Authority for Youth and Sports (PAYS) is working on converting them into social ones, to involve all members of the family, of all ages, in sports, social and cultural activities. But the matter "will take some time." Sheikh Salman today shared the Kuwaiti youth their joy of Eid Al-Fitr through a host of activities organised by PAYS at the Faiha and Ardhia centres.
A host of sports, cultural and social activities were organized, and attended by scores of members, PAYS Hamoud Flitah told KUNA.
This is the first time such activities are held for the Kuwaiti youth, upon directions from the Minister Sheik Salman and PAYS general director Sheikh Ahmad Al-Mansour Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Flitah added. (end) fsa.tb.msa
