Militant attack kills 4 Yemeni soldiers

SANAA, July 25 (KUNA) -- Four Yemen soldiers were killed and two others injured after Al-Qaeda militants attacked a security checkpoint in the central Al-Bayda province on Friday evening.
"The attack bears the hallmarks of the terrorist Al-Qaeda organization, Yemen News Agency (SANA) reported, citing a statement by the Defense Ministry.
After carrying out the coward attack, the terrorists burned a security vehicle and then fled, the statement noted.
Security enhancements were sent immediately the site of the attack in a bid to track down the attackers in the mountains surrounding the area, the statement added. (end) az.mb
