JEDDAH, July 25 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia will donate SAR 100 million (USD 26.7 million) to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, as per the directions of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.
The amount is to help the ministry overcome shortages of medicine and urgent medical appliances necessary for the treatment of Palestinians injured in the continuing Israeli military offensive on the Gazan people, according to the Minister of Health.
The aid comes only two weeks after King Abdullah handed SAR 200 million to the Palestinian Red Crescent, added Minister Adel bin Mohammed Faqeeh. (end)
