Palestine Pres. says world must unite against Israeli killing machine

RAMALLAH, July 22 (KUNA) -- Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said Tuesday it was high time the world "unite in one voice in the face of the Israeli killing and destruction machine." Abbas, addressing a meeting of the Palestinian leadership in Ramallah, said the "occupation forces have crossed all lines and violated all human and international laws and morals with the most vicious way." He called on the international community to unite in these "critical moments" to end the Israeli aggression "which aims at destroying the Palestinian cause and aborting the (Palestinian) reconciliation." Abbas affirmed commitment to national unity and the government of national unity.
"We will continue our contacts and endeavors at the regional and international levels, and will go everywhere to stop the aggression and win our legitimate rights. We will pursue those behind crimes against our people ... ," he said. (end) nq.bs
