TEHRAN, July 22 (KUNA) -- A Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation arrived in Tehran to participate in an urgent Inter-Parliamentary Troika meeting for members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The one-day meeting is to discuss the deteriorating situation in the Gaza Strip and to tackle means of defending the rights of the Palestinians against Israel's atrocious attacks.
The Kuwaiti delegation, which included MPs Saleh Ashour and Saif Al-Azmi, was received by Kuwaiti embassy charge d'affaires Saad Al-Hajri at Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport.
The inter-parliamentary troika meeting will be chaired by Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani. (end)
