Parliament approves several foreign agreements

KUWAIT, July 21 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti parliament approved a draft law for foreign investment promotion and protection agreements between the Kuwaiti government and each of Iraq, Honduras, Tanzania and Kenya.
The parliament's foreign affairs committee also passed a draft law for the establishment of an HQ for the GCC Emergency Management Centre.
A memorandum of understanding on plans for preferential tariffs between Organisation of Islamic Cooperation member states was also passed.
The committee also approved an agreement for the avoidance of dual taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion. (end) sss.sd
