CAIRO, July 14 (KUNA) -- Arab Foreign Ministers began an extraordinary meeting in Cairo Monday to discuss the deterioration situation in Gaza Strip as a result of the Israeli aggression, which killed and injured more than 1,300 people.
The meeting is being he held at the request of Kuwait, the president of the Arab Summit, and following consultations between Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al-Araby, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Moroccan Foreign Minister Salah Ad-Deen Mezwar.
Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyadh Al-Malki is due to present a report over the Israeli blatant violations in Gaza Strip which resulted in the killing of at least 180 people and injuring of over 1,200 others.
Al-Araby will also present a report about the measures to confront the Israeli military offensive on Gaza, which would undermine international peace and security.
Kuwait's delegation is headed by Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled. (end) kt.bs
