Jewish settler runs over, kills two Palestinian men in Haifa - paper

RAMALLAH, July 6 (KUNA) -- Two Palestinian people were killed when they were run over by a truck driven by extremist Jew in the city of Haifa on Sunday, Yedioth Ahronoth reported.
It said a Jewish settler from occupied Jerusalem run over Zahi Abu Hamed and Anwar Al-Astal with his truck in Haifa.
Zahi Abu Hamed's brother, Zuhair, who was at the scene was injured, it noted.
The trio were parking on the side of the road to fix their car when the Jewish settler approached them with his truch and hit them.
The driver's whereabout is unknown.
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad condemned the deliberate attack, and said it was part of a series of assaults on unarmed Palestinians.
The murder of Abu Hamed and Al-Astal "is a crime the responsibility of which falls upon the settlement state which exercises organized terrorism and launch a provocative campaign aimed at killing the Arabs," the Islamic Jihad said in a statement. (end) nq.mzt.bs
