Sudan, Egypt to work together to contain trouble in region

KHARTOUM, June 27 (KUNA) -- Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir and visiting Egyptian President Abdulfatah Al-Sisi agreed Friday to work together to end all current conflicts in the region.
In a joint press conference after their talks here, the two leaders affirmed the strong relations between their two countries and the need to coordinate and cooperate to best serve both countries' people.
The Sudanese leader noted on President Al-Sisi commitment to work on bolstering development and cooperation between the two countries.
He added that the talks covered many bilateral issues and the latest developments in the region, affirming on having identical views concerning joint work.
For his part, President Al-Sisi praised the warm reception and welcome he received in the past couple of hours, affirming on his country's view with regard to seeing Sudan as a strategic partner.
The Egyptian leader expressed hope that such visit result in boosting support and development between the two nations.
Later, President Al-Sisi departed Khartoum and headed home. (pickup previous) hha.mb
