SARAJEVO, June 19 (KUNA) -- Cooperation and coordination between Kuwaiti and Bosnian Islamic institutions is needed in order to support the Balkan country, MP Humoud Al-Hamdan said Thursday.
"The State of Kuwait, through its concerned bodies, will continue to reflect a true image of Islam and Muslims," Al-Hamdan said during a meeting with Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina Hussein Kavazovic. Al-Hamdan is part of the delegation of the Parliamentary Friendship Group currently visiting the country.
"This visit contributed directly in providing closure to many issues the Kuwaiti parliament needed to be clear about," he said.
Earlier today, the Kuwaiti delegation, headed by MP Saud Al-Huraiji, met with Bosnian Defense Minister Zekerijah Osmic, who voiced much thanks and appreciation to the State of Kuwait for its financial and in-kind assistance to the victims of the recent floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
