KUWAIT, June 17 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Tuesday departed the country for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he is due to attend the 41st Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) ministerial talks in a day's time.
Several ministry officials will accompany the Kuwaiti foreign minister for the June 18-19 talks.
These include head of the economic department Abdullah Ahmad Al-Mansour, head of the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah and head of the international organisations department Jassem Al-Mubaraki.
The delegation will also include Kuwait's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Kuwait's Consul in Jeddah and permanent OIC representative Saleh Al-Saqubi, along with other Kuwaiti diplomats.
Bidding farewell to the minister at Kuwait International Airport was the ministry's Undersecretary Khaled Al-Jarallah and the head of ceremonial affairs Dhari Al-Ajran. (end) sd
