CAIRO, May 29 (KUNA) -- Egyptian Interim President Adly Mansour on Thursday affirmed depth of the historic relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia noting Egyptian people "would never forget historic stances of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz toward Egypt." The presidential underlining of the close and warm ties between Riyadh and Cairo came in a statement, issued by the presidency after Mansour received the Saudi Ambassador in Cairo, Ahmad Abdul-Aziz Gattan.
President Mansour underscored, during the meeting with the diplomat, the depth of the historic relations between the two brotherly countries, namely the Governments and peoples.
On his part, Gattan affirmed that the Saudi-Egyptian relations have turned stronger, noting King Abdullah personally has special cordial feelings toward Egypt and its people.
The ambassador conveyed to President Mansour greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and wishes for further progress and prosperity for the nation. (end) smg.zib.rk
