One person dies of coronavirus past 24 hours in Saudi Arabia - Min.

RIYADH, May 23 (KUNA) -- One person was announced dead following infection of the coronavirus while three people acquired the virus over the past 24 hours, the Saudi Health Ministry said Friday.
The fatality was a patient in Jeddah, while the new three patients were in each of Jeddah, Makkah and Madina, the ministry added in a statement.
One of the new infectee was in the intensive care unit while the two others showed no symptoms.
With today's announcement, the total number of infected people since September 2012 has risen to 554, among them 178 fatalities. (end) od.bs
