Parliamentary by-elections June 26 - Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah

KUWAIT, May 18 (KUNA) -- Parliamentary by-elections will be held on Thursday on June 26, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs said Sunday.
Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Sabah, in a statement after a cabinet meeting, said Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah briefed government members about preparations for the by-elections.
"By elections for membership of the National Assembly will be held on Thursday June 26," Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah said.
By-elections will be held after the parliament approved, during a session on May 15, the resignations of MPs Riyadh Al-Adsani, Dr. Abdulkareem Al-Kanderi, Dr. Hussein Al-Guwaian, Ali Al-Rashed, and Safaa Al-Hashem. (end) jy.bs
