Israeli extremist settlers anew break into Al-Aqsa Mosque

GAZA, April 22 (KUNA) -- Israeli extremist settlers on Tuesday anew stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem, barging in via the Al-Magharebah Gate, according to Palestinian sources.
A statement by Al-Aqsa Foundation for Waqf and Heritage said that 21 settlers rolled into the compound and conducted provocative tours in the its facilities.
It added that a considerable number of the Mosque's students stood up to the settlers after they broke into the compound.
The Palestinian continuous presence on the gates of the Mosque is an important way to ensure the maximum protection from the settlers' attacks," it said, noting that many Palestinians stationed at the gates were subjected to severe beatings and verbal and physical abuse. (end) mzt.tg
