Kuwait's General Consul in Milan and North Italy Abdul-Nasser Bou-khaddour with the Carabinieri Chief in North-West Italy, Vincenzo Giuliani
MILAN, Italy, April 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's General Consul in Milan and North Italy Abdul-Nasser Bou-khaddour discussed with the police chief in northwestern Italy means of securing Kuwaiti tourists during the summer holidays season.
The Kuwaiti General Consulate said in a statement the General Consul met, early on Saturday, with the Carabinieri Chief in North-West Italy, Vincenzo Giuliani, as part of visits of acquaintance with officials in the city, Milan province and North Italy.
The two sides discussed several issues, namely plans to secure and protect Kuwaiti tourists during their summer holiday visits to Milan and other cities as well as guiding them how to spare themselves being victims of theft, fraud and deception.
General Giuliani touched during the talks with the Kuwaiti diplomat on preparations and security precautions for the Expo Milan Exhibition 2015, expected to lure 22 million visitors from various corners of the world.
Kuwait is preparing to set up its special pavilion at the international fair ground. (end)
