Four French journalists freed in Syria

PARIS, April 19 (KUNA) -- Four French journalists held hostage in Syria since mid-2013 have been set free and they are in good health, it was announced here on Saturday.
The release of the four French journalists was announced in a statement by French President Francois Hollande.
The French leader expressed "immense relief" at hearing the news of the release.
The four journalists were taken by a militant group in Syria in two separate kidnap operations last June.
No details of the conditions of the release were revealed.
France says its does not pay any ransom to secure the release of its nationals held in various parts of the world. (end) jk.mt
