14 people killed, 50 injured in car blast in Homs

AMMAN, April 18 (KUNA) -- A car explosion in the Syrian city of Homs has killed 14 people and injured 50 others on Friday, Syrian official news agency (SANA) reported.
The booby-trapped car exploded in Al-Waleed district in Homs killing and injuring 64 people as well as causing severe damage in properties, added SANA.
No one claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
Meanwhile, Syrian Revolution General Commission (SRGC) said 56 people were killed in hostilities in different parts of the country.
It added that 32 people were killed in Homs, 14 in Aleppo, three in Edlib, three in Der-Ezzor, one in each of Daraa, Latakia and Hama, and a foreigner. (pickup previous) tk.bs
