TEHRAN, April 16 (KUNA) -- Three Kuwaiti travelers are making their way across Iran on motorbikes on what they termed "a voyage of friendship", and were received in Tehran by the Kuwaiti Ambassador Majdi Al-Thifiri who pledged to provide all support they need during their initiative.
The travelers told KUNA, Wednesday, that their trip aims "to convey a message to the Iranian people that we in the Gulf are peace loving people," and added they hope to see more and closer interaction and communication between people of the nations of the Gulf region.
The voyagers, Abdelaziz Abdelhadi, Hussain Ashkanani, and Anwar Al-Juwaisri, along with Bahraini fellow-traveler Saleh Mehdi Al-Khabbaz, expressed gratitude for the good reception and hospitality and stressed there were no problems so far during their tour.
The team was in Khurramshahr April 6, and later made its way to Isfahan crossing through Ahvaz and Shahrekord, before heading to the capital, Tehran.
The next stop is Aromiya in the northwest, and from there, the team would choose either to go to Azerbaijan or Kurdistan. (end) mw.wsa
