Municipal Council members register violations in S. Sabahiya Park, Khairan Resort

KUWAIT, April 14 (KUNA) -- Members of the Municipal Council's Al-Ahmadi Committee visited Monday the South Sabahiya Park and Al-Khairan Resort in a bid to put solutions for the violations in the two places.
There are a number of violations in the the South Sabahiya Park and Al-Khairan Resort, said committee member Adel Al-Mai' in a statement following the visits.
The South Subahiya Park is run by Kuwait Touristic Enterprises Company (KTEC), he noted, but was wholly leased by investors, who he did not name, who were not complying with the lease contract.
The committee, he said, asked KTEC to explain these violations since the lease contract was signed in 2011.
Mane' Al-Ajmi, another committee members, said there were more than 200 chalets in Al-Khairan Resort who were built without a lisence. He said the violations would be referred to the Ministry of State for Municipal Affairs to take the necessary action. (end) fz.bs
