TUNIS, March 1 (KUNA) -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov heads a top
delegation to visit Tunisia for a work and friendship visit on March 4-5,
announced Tunisian foreign ministry in a statement on Saturday.
During the visit Minister Lavrov will hold talks with Tunisia's Caretaker
President Moncef Marzouki, Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa and Foreign Minister
Mongi Hamdi, the statement added.
The aim of the visit comes within the framework of supporting the
friendship ties and cooperation between Tunisia and Russia in areas of common
interest, it pointed out. (end)
