Cairo bridge collapses, killing one man

CAIRO, Feb 11 (KUNA) -- At least one man was killed when a section of a bridge in Al-Marg district, northern of Egyptian capital, collapsed late Monday.
Fire broke out in shacks under the bridge, located, and a number of gas cylinders exploded while rescue workers were trying to extinguish the fire. The explosions of the gas cylinders caused the collapse of a part of the bridge.
At least one rescue worker was killed and another was injured and is still trapped under the rubble.
Four underground stations were closed after the incident as technicians warned that the bridge might fall onto the tracks below. (end) rg.ibi KUNA 111120 Feb 14NNNN
