KUWAIT, Nov 28 (KUNA) -- Kuwait National Seismic Network said on Thursday
it detected a 5.6 degrees earthquake that hit Iranian regions located roughly
333 kilometers from Kuwait City.
Dr. Manea Al-Sedrawi, in charge of the catastrophes management department,
said in a statement that the quake that occurred at 4:51 p.m. was recorded at
10 kilometers deep in the ground.
Epicenter of the quake was recorded in southern Iran, some 80 km from city
of Bushehr. (end)
