KUWAIT, Oct 31 (KUNA) -- Kuwait is keen on implementing and observing the
UN Convention Against Corruption (UNAC), said head of the Government
Performance Follow-Up Apparatus Sheikh Ahmad Al-Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber
Al-Sabah here Thursday.
This statement came during Sheikh Ahmad's meeting with Chairman of Kuwait's
anti-corruption authority Justice Abdulrahman Al-Nemash and authority members
Mohammad Al-Otaibi and Louay Al-Saleh.
Sheikh Ahmad affirmed that the Apparatus was keen on cooperating with the
authority to achieve the common goal of combating corruption.
On their part, the authority's chairman and members expressed similar
sentiments. During the meeting, Justice Al-Nemash briefed Sheikh Ahmad on the
role and mission of the anti-corruption authority. (end)
